Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of Squidmark: the website, the app and the Squidmark browser extension. By creating an account or using Squidmark, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Squidmark.
What Squidmark is
Squidmark imports the posts you’ve bookmarked on X (formerly Twitter) into a private library where you can browse, search and organize them. On the paid plan, it also uses AI to summarize, tag and sort them, answers questions about your library, and keeps it in sync with your newest bookmarks.
Squidmark is an independent product. It isn’t affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by X Corp.
Your account
You need an account to use Squidmark, and you’re responsible for what happens under it. Keep your sign-in secure and tell us if you think someone else has used it. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use Squidmark.
Connecting your X account gives Squidmark read-only access to your bookmarks. You can disconnect it, or the Squidmark extension, at any time from Settings.
Plans and payment
Free: import all your bookmarks with the Squidmark extension, browse, search and organize them, and have AI summarize and tag your newest 50.
Squidmark Personal, $5 a month or $39 a year: AI summaries, tags and smart folders for up to 15,000 bookmarks, chat with your library, and a daily sync of your newest bookmarks.
Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, and are subject to their terms. Your subscription renews every month (or every year, on the yearly plan) until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Plan & Billing; you keep the paid features until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again.
We don’t refund partial periods. If you were charged by mistake or something went wrong, email squidmark.ceo@gmail.com within 14 days and we’ll make it right. We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice; a new price applies from your next renewal after that.
Using Squidmark fairly
Please don’t:
- use Squidmark to break the law or anyone’s rights, or X’s terms;
- try to access other people’s accounts or data, or get around plan limits;
- overload, attack, probe or reverse-engineer the service;
- resell or redistribute Squidmark, or scrape it with automated tools.
Fair-use limits keep Squidmark working for everyone; for example, AI enrichment covers up to 15,000 bookmarks per account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Your content
Your bookmarks, notes, folders and chats are yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to run Squidmark for you, including sending bookmark text to our AI providers to create summaries, tags and answers. The posts themselves belong to their authors; Squidmark keeps copies only so your library works. How we handle your data is described in our Privacy policy.
AI features
Summaries, tags, folder suggestions, reading picks and chat answers are generated by AI and can be incomplete or wrong. Check anything important against the original post. They aren’t professional advice.
The Squidmark extension
The extension imports your own X bookmarks into your Squidmark account, only when you start an import. It reads your bookmarks list on x.com in your browser while you’re signed in, and never posts or changes anything on X. You can remove it at any time.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Squidmark running and your data safe, but the service is provided “as is”, without guarantees that it will always be available or free of errors. It depends on services we don’t control, including X, and features may change if they change. We may update Squidmark and these terms; for significant changes we’ll tell you in the app or by email before they take effect.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. That cancels your subscription and permanently deletes your library. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and will tell you why where we can.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Squidmark isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data or profits, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be waived.
